....little notes and commentaries from a pink house on the top of a tanzanian hill....
So very sad.Thinking of you.
Sympathy. We also lost a friend this weekend, completely without warning. Someone gave me this Larkin poem. It might be some comfort. The MowerThe mower stalled, twice; kneeling, I foundA hedgehog jammed up against the blades,Killed. It had been in the long grass.I had seen it before, and even fed it, once. Now I had mauled its unobtrusive worldUnmendably. Burial was no help:Next morning I got up and it did not.The first day after a death, the new absenceIs always the same; we should be carefulOf each other, we should be kindWhile there is still time.(Larkin)love
What a depressing poem - I think you should write one of your twinkly ones for him Lx
babe, sending you huge huge love and support and everything..xxxxxxxx
But living life to the full and going to the other side with your guitar in hands - isn`t that something, too? He will be greatly welcomed there!!
What a shock and so young. But let's hope he meets Lynyrd Skynyrd and plays heavenly music on his cloud (Number 9, of course).I'm a great fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd; obviously Free Bird but anything by them really!
Hey, Janelle, see that thing on my header? Hell's teeth, his was a trip, y'know?
Sending hugs and love, your a good friend.sorry sweetie.♥ lori
